Post-Kantian German Idealism

The Department seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Philosophy from 1 April 2011 or 1 October 2011, fixed-term for three years, in the area of Post-Kantian German Idealism. The successful candidate will conduct original research and will teach four hours per week of undergraduate and graduate classes during semester. Besides a historical specialisation in Post-Kantian German Idealism, candidates should be interested in analytical approaches to systematic philosophical questions.
Candidates are expected to hold a PhD in philosophy. Their German proficiency should be sufficient to teach classes in German from their second year on the position.
The salary will be according to grade 13 on the German TV-L scale.
